Das Projekt
Die Keilschriftartefakte des Iraq Museum Baghdad sind ein zentraler Bestandteil des kulturellen Erbes Mesopotamiens, der für die ganze Menschheit von großer Bedeutung ist. Das Vorhaben wird als interdisziplinäres Akademieprojekt rund 17.000 Keilschrifttafeln aus dem antiken Mesopotamien dokumentieren, edieren, aus historischer und linguistischer Perspektive analysieren sowie mit neuesten digitalen Ansätzen für die Öffentlichkeit und Fachleute verschiedener Disziplinen online bereitstellen.
Call for a CAIC Iraqi Scholarship
Iraqi cuneiform scholars are invited to apply for a scholarship in Munich, Germany, to prepare a publication of cuneiform texts. This program, offered by the Munich CAIC project at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, supports scholars with travel costs and a stipend for 45 to 90 days.
Applications are encouraged from postdocs and doctoral students. Deadlines: January 31st and July 31st.
